1Introduction
DI TeleNotify connects Shopify stores with Telegram to deliver store notifications. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, share, and protect merchant and customer information while providing the service.
2Information We Collect
We may collect and process the following information:
- Shopify store domain, contact email, installation details, OAuth tokens, and approved API scopes.
- Order details required for notifications, such as order number, products, prices, totals, currency, and limited customer details.
- Telegram bot tokens, chat IDs, chat names, message templates, and notification preferences.
- Support requests, technical logs, IP addresses, error details, and browser information.
3How We Use Information
Information is used to operate the App, process Shopify events, send Telegram notifications, manage subscription access, provide support, troubleshoot errors, prevent misuse, and improve service security and performance.
4Shopify & Telegram Integration
Shopify OAuth tokens are used only to access approved store data and register required webhooks. Notification data is sent to the Telegram chats configured by the merchant. Once information is delivered to Telegram, it is also governed by Telegram's privacy policy and terms.
5Billing Information
All subscription payments and invoices are handled through Shopify Billing. We may store plan and subscription status, but we do not collect or store payment card numbers, bank details, or other payment credentials.
7Data Retention & Deletion
We retain information only as long as required to provide the service, resolve issues, meet legal obligations, and enforce agreements. Order webhook data is generally processed temporarily. After uninstalling the App, store access is disabled and access tokens, configurations, and applicable personal data are scheduled for deletion according to Shopify requirements.
8Privacy Rights
Merchants may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection regarding their personal information, where applicable. Store customers should normally contact the Shopify merchant first because the merchant controls their customer data.
9Security & Policy Updates
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including HTTPS and secure credential handling. However, no online system is completely secure. We may update this Privacy Policy when our services, legal requirements, or data practices change, and the revised version will be published on this page.
